Launch Meeting a Success!

October 13, 2007. The launch meeting, held last week was a success. It was well attended and we received a lot of interest from people.

Don't miss the next meeting. It will be the results of a years long study by SFEI regarding our own little watershed here on Miller Creek. Meeting is scheduled for November 13 at Dixie School. Put it on your calendar.

Some people have expressed an interest in having access to the powerpoint presentation from our last meeting. Here it is.

Miller Creek Watershed Stewards Launch Meeting

The Miller Creek Watershed Stewards is a newly formed organization whose mission is to provide a common voice for all residents of the Miller Creek Watershed including Marinwood, Lucas Valley and all other of the other small communities that span our watershed from Big Rock to the Bay. Our first priority is the careful stewardship of our delicate and unique watershed so that it may be preserved for future generations to come.

If you are interested in joining us there are many things you can do:

• Go to the Bulletin Boards, sign up, and tell us what priorities are important to you.
• Go to the Blog, sign up, and register to receive future updates from MCWS.
• Put your name in the hat. We may need help at future events or planning meetings. Send an e-mail to Craig Murray at craig.murray@comcast.net
