We are seeking a new board member. If you are interested, please submit your name and a short note. We hope to make a decision this Thursday.
We have a new feature on the Marinwood Association Website. You can now pay your membership dues online. To pay online, simply go here, and pay via PayPal.
If you are planning to attend our community meeting tomorrow March 28th at 7pm at the Marinwood Community Center, you can pay your dues in advance online, which will allow you to vote at the Community Meeting being planned. Otherwise, you may pay at the meeting. Dues are $10 per family per year.
Marinwood will be celebrating the 34th Annual Easter Egg Hunt this Saturday, March 30th in Marinwood Park. This event is sponsored as always, by the Las Gallinas Lions Club.
The Egg Hunt starts at 10am sharp at Marinwood Park. Note, there are three separate and simultaneous egg hunts in the park for children of different ages; we don’t want to have any tramplings! Be sure to check the signs to join the age appropriate hunt.
Afterwards, the family can enjoy Breakfast with Bunny at the Marinwood Community Center. Breakfast: Adults: $7 & Children 12 & under $5.
Come to an open discussion of Marinwood.
Every fourth Thursday of the month, the Marinwood Association hosts a discussion group. We will continue the conversations we started last month aboutMarinwoodVillage, other potential development in Marinwood/Lucas Valley, Miller Creek, the Marinwood Association and any other items of interest to those in attendance.
In addition we will plan a community meeting to allow for the dissemination of accurate information and discussions about important items affecting our community. Also, officers of the Marinwood Association will be elected at the to be planned community meeting.
Meeting time is 7:00pm in the small classroom at the back of the community center.
This Saturday is the Annual Marinwood Easter Egg Hunt, organized by the Las Gallinas Lions and the Marinwood CSD. If you have never attended, it is great fun and is an absolute must for children of all ages. And it is Free.

First, I would like to thank everybody who came out to our Annual Marinwood Association meeting on September 9th, and especially those who paid their annual dues or became members for the first time. This is one of the things…
At the request of a number of Marinwood Association members we are providing a ballot prior to the September 9th Marinwood Association meeting for those that wish to vote and pay their dues early. www.marinwoodassociation.org/Ballot2009.doc Please understand that at this time there are only four names on the ballot as no one else has indicated a willingness to run for the open director position. By voting early you will not get a chance to vote for anyone that comes to the meeting that night and wishes to serve our community.
Early voting is provided as connivance for those not planning to attend the meeting and still wishing to have their voice heard and their dues collected. As the time is near, please mail your ballot and dues to Geoff as soon as possible. Only those votes received by Geoff by Wednesday’s mail delivery will count. That means if you want to take advantage of this offer you probably have to mail you ballot by Saturday, September 5 to be certain it is received.
We apologize that you do not have more time but this was a last minute decision based on some inquires from our membership to provide them the opportunity to vote by proxy.
The Marinwood Association’s Progress Marinwood program is scheduled for September 9, 2009 at 7:30 at the Marinwood Community Center. You will have the opportunity to hear from our County Supervisor about the county’s response plans for the H1N1 flu virus…
The Marinwood Association invites you to a general meeting of the community, Progress Marinwood. The meeting is scheduled for September 9, 2009 at 7:30pm at the Marinwood Community Center. Progress Marinwood is an evening to inform you of a number…
We have new momentum in our quest to create a shopping village on the old Marinwood Plaza property.
With a goal of February 2009, the Marinwood Village Collaborative (Members listed below) will build on the results of the successful community planning process to finalize a detailed development plan and engineering study for the site along with pedestrian, bicycle and transit studies. One caveat – The contamination from previous dry cleaners may be more extensive then previously thought.
