VOTE ON NOVEMBER 8TH
On Tuesday, November 8th, Marinwood residents vote for 2 candidates to sit on the Marinwood CSD Board.
There are 3 candidates vying for 2 seats.
The 3 candidates are: Â Â Katie Roach, Dave Mitchell and Bruce Anderson
I, as the chair of the committee representing the community in the Marinwod Village Planning process, feel that it is very important that this election send a clear message to the Owners, the Developer, the County Planners and our District Supervisor.
The message should be that we fully support the Marinwood Village Planning process and:
(1) the efforts to recruit a full service grocery store for the Plaza site,
(2) recruiting additional community serving retail stores,
(3) a housing component which is in scale with and an enhancement of the Marinwood community and
(4) the creation of a first class village type design for the Village Center.
Successful community projects must have the political support of the community.
I would not be doing my job if I did not notify you of the importance of this election to the future of the Marinwood Village Planning process and urge you to study carefully the qualifications of each of the candidates.
